Camera Control Pro 2 allows the user to remotely control a camera from a computer using either a wired connection or a wireless connection if using a Nikon Communication Unit or Wireless Transmitter with the camera. Most camera settings can be controlled remotely from a computer using this software.

This software updates Camera Control Pro v 2.13.0 - 2.18.0 to v 2.19.0. Camera Control Pro v 2.13.0 - v 2.18.0 must be installed before proceeding with this update. This Updater Software cannot be used to install a different language version, or to modify the language version, of the application currently installed.

D3, D3S, D3X, D4, D4S, D60, D90, D300, D300S, D600, D610, D700, D750, D800, D800E, D810, D5000, D5100, D5200, D5300, D7000, D7100, and Df.

Modifications enabled in this version

Support for the D750 has been added.
A Movie 2 tab has been added (displayed only when the D750 is connected).
This new tab allows users to specify Picture Control, Image Area, White Balance, and Hi ISO NR settings.

Notes

Users of cameras other than the D3, D60, D90, D300, D300S, D700, or D5000.
When a camera other than the D3, D60, D90, D300, D300S, D700, or D5000 is connected to a computer via Camera Control Pro 2, the following applications will not display images recorded to a memory card inserted in the camera: Nikon Transfer 2, Windows Explorer, Image Capture, and iPhoto. To view images recorded to the memory card with these applications you must first exit Camera Control Pro 2.
AF-F shooting with the D4, D600, D610, D800, D800E, D5100, D5200, D5300, D7000, D7100, and Df.
When using the Shoot button to capture still images in live view mode at a focus mode setting of AF-F with the D4, D600, D610, D800, D800E, D5100, D5200, D5300, D7000, D7100, and Df, focus point information is not recorded with images.
Focus point information is recorded with images when the AF and Shoot button is used to capture images with all cameras except the D5200.
However, the AF and Shoot button cannot be used to capture images at a focus mode setting of AF-F with the D7000.
Camera Control Pro 2 and Mac OS X 10.7, 10.8, or 10.9.
When a camera with a memory card containing hundreds of images inserted in it is connected to the computer and Camera Control Pro 2 is immediately launched, the camera may not be recognized or camera response may be extremely slow.
When using a camera with a memory card inserted first wait for the camera's memory card access lamp to stop flashing before launching Camera Control Pro 2.
Operation with repeated shooting.
With repeated shooting, such as with interval timer shooting, shooting may stop unexpectedly or the camera connection may be terminated.
Should this occur, exit Camera Control Pro 2, turn the camera off and then on again, and then re-launch Camera Control Pro 2.

Installation

You must have Administrator authority when installing this software. Exit all other applications that may be running, and turn off all virus-checking software before proceeding with this upgrade.

Windows:

Create a new folder on the hard disk and name it appropriately.
Download the Windows version of this software to the folder created in step 1.
Run the downloaded .EXE file from Windows Explorer to launch the software installer.
Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

Mac:

Create a new folder on the hard disk and name it appropriately.
Download the Mac version of this software to the folder created in step 1.
Double-click the .DMG file to mount the disk image. A file will be created inside the disk image.
Run the file to launch the software installer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

If a dialogue box recommending that the computer be restarted is displayed, follow the instructions and restart the computer. When this software is run, it may be necessary to enter the product key again to confirm ownership of a previous version of the software.
