  • • This software is for current owners of Camera Control Pro 2. For new users, it functions as a trial version that, once installed, can be used for up to 30 days before purchase is required.
  • • This software is distributed as a file named “S-CCPRO_-023400WF-ALLIN-ALL___.exe”. Download and run the file to perform the update.
  • • When performing the update, you may be required to enter the product key to confirm ownership.
  • • Before beginning installation, exit Camera Control Pro 2 and all other applications, including any anti-virus software.
  • • When performing the update, log in to an account with administrator privileges.
  • • The interface after the update will be in the same language as the current software and cannot be changed.
  • • If you are using D5 “C” firmware version 1.20 or later, update Camera Control Pro 2 to the current version, as versions 2.25.0 or earlier will not function as expected.
  • • Users of the D5500 (firmware C version 1.01 or later) or the D5300 (firmware C version 1.01 or later) who use the Windows edition of Camera Control Pro 2 are requested to upgrade to the current version, as versions 2.22.0 or earlier will no longer detect the camera.
  • • If you initiate movie recording using camera controls, a warning may be displayed; close the dialog before ending recording.

Notes
  • To users of cameras other than the D3, D700, D300S, D300, D5000, and D90: The Explorer, Nikon Transfer 2, and other software will not show the pictures stored on memory cards inserted in the camera. The pictures will be displayed when you exit Camera Control Pro 2.
  • Using AF-F with D4, D800, D800E, D610, D600, D7100, D7000, D5500, D5300, D5200, D5100, and Df cameras: The focus point will not be recorded in the photo information for pictures taken using the Shoot button while AF-F is selected for autofocus mode. Except in the case of the D5200, the focus point will be recorded with pictures taken using the AF and Shoot button, but note that pictures cannot be taken using the AF and Shoot button when AF-F is selected with the D7000.

  • • Added support for the Z 9.
  • • Pictures can now be displayed in NX Studio as they are taken. To do so, select Show it with NX Studio for Transfer Options > When a new image is received from the camera in the Camera Control Pro 2 Tools menu and Show Image Immediately After Shooting in the NX Studio File menu.
  • • Ended support for 32-bit operating systems.
  • • Fixed an issue occurring on computers running Windows 10 version 2004 or later in which the keyboard could not be used to zoom the live view display in or out, and attempting to do so would cause Camera Control Pro 2 to hang.
Installation
  1. Create a folder on the hard disk and name it as desired.
  2. Download S-CCPRO_-023400WF-ALLIN-ALL___.exe to the folder created in Step 1.
  3. Run S-CCPRO_-023400WF-ALLIN-ALL___.exe to launch the installer.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.

Do not launch Camera Control Pro 2 while the memory card access lamp is lit.
  • • Camera Control Pro 2 is not optimized for dark mode in macOS 10.14 (Mojave).

  2. Double-click the downloaded file to mount a “Camera Control Pro 2” disk image containing a “Welcome” file.
  3. Double-click the “Welcome” file to launch the installer.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
