This software update program is for the customer-owned product listed above (the “affected product”), and is provided only on acceptance of the agreement listed below. By selecting “Accept” and clicking “Download”, you are held to have accepted the terms and conditions of the agreement. Be sure you understand the terms of the agreement before beginning download.

- • This service supplies software that can be used to update the firmware for KeyMission 170 cameras to version 1.4. Before proceeding, select Camera settings > Firmware version in the camera (setup) menu and check the camera firmware version. You will not need to download or install this update if the firmware listed above is already installed.
- • Use the latest version of the SnapBridge 360/170 app.
- • This update includes all changes made in previous updates.
- • Read the information below before proceeding.

- - When users attempted to pair the camera with the smart device using the SnapBridge 360/170 under iOS 13, pairing would end in failure and a message to that effect would be displayed.

Note: Users of iOS 10.2 will also need to upgrade the SnapBridge 360/170 app to the latest version, which supports iOS 10.2.

Changes from Firmware Version 1.0 to 1.1
- • Fixed an issue that in rare cases caused the camera to display a message stating that certain memory cards could not be used.
- • Fixed as issue that in rare cases caused the camera to stop responding when HDMI cables were connected or disconnected.

- Viewing the Camera Firmware Version

- Start the KeyMission 170 and navigate to the shooting display.
- Press the OK button and select Camera settings > Firmware version in the (setup) menu to display the camera firmware version.
- Check the current firmware version.

- Updating the Camera Firmware
-
- Create a folder on the computer hard disk and name it as desired.
- Download F-KM170-V14W.exe to the folder created in Step 1.
- Run F-KM170-V14W.exe to extract the firmware to a sub-folder in the new folder. The resulting file and folder hierarchy is shown below:
• firmware (the sub-folder containing the firmware)
• firmware.bin (the camera firmware, located in the “firmware” folder)
- Using a card slot or card reader, copy the “firmware” folder to a memory card that has been formatted in the camera.
- Insert the memory card into the camera and turn the camera on.
- Select Camera settings > Firmware version in the (setup) menu and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update. The camera will turn off automatically when the update is complete.
- Turn the camera on, then format the memory card.
- Confirm that the firmware has been updated to the new version.

- Double-click the F-KM170-V14M.dmg icon to mount a disk image containing the folder and file below:
• firmware (the sub-folder containing the firmware)
